A pair of Nico albums, The Marble Index and Desertshore, will return to vinyl and CD next month via Domino. The albums, long out of print, followed the German singer-songwriter’s 1967 debut, Chelsea Girl, and of course the same year’s Velvet Underground & Nico. (John Cale launched his production career co-producing both records.) The reissue is out May 29, with audio mastered from the original tapes.

A Domino Mart Edition of the Marble Index reissue comes with a 7″ that brings “Roses in the Snow” and “Nibelungen” to vinyl for the first time; all versions feature unreleased Guy Webster photos of Nico.
