Julia Fox Wore a String Bikini to the Sundance Film Festival

One thing about Julia Fox is her wild, carefree sense of style. Through her over-the-top looks, she consistently proves that there are no fashion rules, and the outfit she wore to the 2024 Sundance Film Festival is certainly no exception.

The Down the Drain author didn’t let snowy Park City stop her from wearing a bikini to the annual event. Fox simply slipped her tiny white knit swimsuit over a black long-sleeve turtleneck jumpsuit. For more warmth, she added a pair of gray Sorel snow boots and a fluffy white faux fur coat. She accessorized her fun, wintery look with a white KNWLS baguette handbag and black Gentle Monster sunglasses.

Fox is attending the indie film festival to celebrate the upcoming psychological thriller Presence, which she stars in alongside Lucy Liu. The movie is premiering tonight at Sundance and will have several screenings throughout the week.

According to The Playlist, Presence “was shot this summer in secret under an indie SAG waiver (meaning, it was shot and edited in about six months), and while shot on the quick, it was not shot on the iPhone like Soderbergh’s last horror-ish project Unsane in 2018.”

In a December 2023 interview with Interview, Fox revealed that she felt like she was destined for fame.

“I think, deep down, everybody wants to be famous. Growing up, I didn’t necessarily even know that I wanted it. I always just felt like it was going to happen,” she recalled.
