John “SohoJohnny” Pasquale: “A Ticket to the Movies….An Actor’s Debut”

After spending a good part of his life as a Real Estate entrepreneur, a model family man, a philanthropist, and property manager, John “SohoJohnny” Pasquale realized he had a second destiny. His love for music was guiding him somewhere ….but the destination was still unknown.

John successfully started Tribeca Records and Soho Records, a charitable foundation called “Let Me Help, Inc” in which he has had two sensational virtual musical events, and a 9/11 live tribute benefit concert. He was seen amongst the stars at red carpet events, Hollywood parties, and his own disco extravaganza that he produced benefitting The American Cancer Society. He even forged ahead with a TV pilot “Soho At Night” featuring celebrities including Tony Orlando (Tie a Yellow Ribbon, Knock Three Times), Randy Edelman film composer (Last of the Mohicans, Ghostbusters ll, My Cousin Vinny) and Iron Maiden’s Tony Moore.

Then all at once he was offered a small role in an indie film called Skelly, with Brian Cox and the acting bug bit him. When offered a chance to become an executive producer in a new thriller plus a supporting role he committed to it with both feet forward….

As Tom the transient motel manager in “The Beast Inside” he surprised the world and himself. “The Beast Inside” told the story of Anne, a mom possessed by a family inherited demon which threatened to kill her and then move on to her young son. It was directed by Jim Towns, produced by See You Next Tuesday Films and starred Sadie Katz, Vernon Wells and Laurene Landon. Executive producers aside from John Pasquale are Mario Reyes, Jimmy Star and Eileen Shapiro. The film’s soundtrack was written and performed by iconic composer Randy Edelman.

SohoJohnny came to the set ready and prepared, however, the cast, the crew, the world was not prepared for the outcome. His portrayal of Tom was not only superb in the supporting role but beyond exquisite. It was serious and humorous and convincing …but most of all it was unforgettable. It is likely that John “SohoJohnny” Pasquale has a bright future in the motion picture industry…..
