Feeling Green

COPY FOR EMAIL: Spring is here in full bloom, and we all know what that means – unpredictable weather. Can one outfit prepare you for any subtle change in metorological condition?
Let’s put our best foot forward in finding a fashion forward fit that will help you stay dry if rain is in the air and enjoy the sun if thats what’s in store (because that’s what we’re hoping for!). No matter what Mr. Weatherman is saying, start with a pop of color to be the light of the day. Army green is a great choice because it is easier to style than other brighter and more vibrant hues. Its neutrality and versatility make it one of our favorites for this Spring. Pair the Corridor open weave green trouser ($225) with your favorite Axel Arigato court t-shirt ($115), and a soft overshirt. Our favorite is this one from Neem Lodon because it is made from recycled materials – that’s always a win in our book.

Layer on a patterned scarf for a trendy look if its a cold one. A scarf is a great way to accessorize, and also add some warmth and coziness. It is also easy to remove and store in a bag if it gets too hot out.

For shoes, try a luxury leather sneaker ($1,039) in a dark color, like this chocolate brown one from Crown North Hampton. The material makes it suitable for an unexpected day ahead, and is more casual than its dress shoe cousin. Tie in the brown with a tortoise shell optical frame ($60) and you are good to go.

WAIT! don’t forget to grab an Edwin umbrella (GBP 40) on your way out. Use it as an opportunity to showcase some of your favorite brands with a logo-embellshed umbrella.
