Kim Chi has announced her beauty brand is donating to a good cause this month – and she once again proves why we all love her.
To mark Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, the beauty brand is teaming up with an important organisation.
The Drag Race royalty’s makeup company, KimChi Chic Beauty has announced that it will be donating a portion of its sales to National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum (NAPAWF).
This will take place throughout the month of May, with 10 percent of the sales of the brand’s face products going to NAPAWF.
Customers who shop the ‘Face’ section at kimchichicbeauty.com, will be helping support the organisation.

Kim Chi says: “Their mission is to build collective power with AAPI women and to gain full agency over their lives, their families, and their communities”.
The products that are part of the campaign include primers, powder sets, palettes and blush as well as accessories like sponges.
Prices of the face section range between $7 and $29, with 10 percent of every sale going to the organisation.

The Drag Race alumni recently made herstory with her beauty brand after it launched at CVS stores in the US.
It marked a huge milestone, with Kim Chi tweeting: “Didn’t ever think you’d see a POC queer brand at CVS did ya!”.
She added that she was “crying tears of joy” about the launch, saying: “I couldn’t possibly imagine we’d grow this big. Thank you so much to everyone who believes in and loves our brand!!! It truly means a lot!”.

The range is available from a number of stores throughout the east coast as well as in California and Texas.
Kim Chi’s fellow Drag Race queens were among those to congratulate her on the milestone, including Bianca Del Rio, Brook Lynn Hytes, Lady Camden and Divina De Campo, alongside her fans.
