First Look at Jim Wynorski’s ‘Bigfoot or Bust!’ [Exclusive]

Jim Wynorski, the cult director behind Chopping Mall, is back with an all-new film and Bloody Disgusting has an exclusive first look. For this latest effort, the director takes on everyone’s favorite cryptid, Bigfoot. Well, sort of. In classic Wynorski fashion, Squatch appears to take a backseat to a cast of women who steal the show in Bigfoot or Bust.

“Having spent much of my formative years renting director Jim Wynorski’s VHS classics Chopping Mall and Return of Swamp Thing, I jumped at the opportunity to pick up Bigfoot or Bust,” MVD Director of Acquisitions Eric D. Wilkinson tells us. “This film is hilarious in all the best possible ways, and I can’t recommend this enough for anyone who wants to check their brain at the door and just laugh at what is likely the silliest movie of 2022!”

Indeed, this isn’t a movie to be taken seriously. Sure, it’s a Bigfoot film, but it’s really all about the scantily clad leading ladies and the goofy one-liners. And it’s exactly what we’d expect from the man that gave us The Witches of Breastwick, House on Hooter Hill, Cleavagefield, and Para-Knockers Activity. Love him or hate him, Wynorski has a style and he fully embraces it.

Synopsis:
A team of curvy celebrities heading out on a quest to search for the Bigfoot, unaware another group of time-traveling buxom women from the future is also looking for the elusive creature. Competitive hijinks ensue between the two teams, clashing with local hillbillies who are also hunting for the legendary beast. The rivals engage in silly, slapstick capers in order to catch Bigfoot, leading up to a hilarious finale busting with laughs!

Bigfoot or Bust stars Rocky DeMarco, Becky LeBeau, Lisa London, Cindy Lucas, Gail Thackray, and Christine Nguyen. The film releases on July 5, 2022 on DVD, Blu-ray and streaming services courtesy of Wild Eye Releasing and MVD Entertainment.
