Sydney Sweeney has revealed her affordable, go-to trick that’s part of her skincare routine.

The Euphoria actor has taken part in a new “Go to Bed with Me” tutorial, showing fans her nighttime skincare routine.

She says: “I learned most of my skin care from multiple different makeup artists or sets that I’ve worked on. Growing up I didn’t know skin care was an important thing.”

In the video for Harper’s Bazaar, she reveals a cheap trick to fully remove her eye makeup that fans can replicate.

She applies Vaseline Healing Jelly Cocoa Butter to wipe away the makeup, saying: “I never liked the harsh rubbing of eye makeup. This Vaseline travels everywhere with me.”

Fans can get their hands on the affordable product for less than £20/$20 on Amazon worldwide.

It’s an essential that she uses throughout her routine, as it makes a comeback as an undereye cream and anywhere else she needs extra moisture.

“I was finding that a lot of undereye creams or oils were not working for me,” she says. “It would make my makeup sit [strangely] and I felt like my eyes were getting dry. I started doing this and it’s been a life-changer.”

Her next step is the Laneige Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Serum as a base for the Solawave Advanced Skincare Wand, which she uses every night to help even out her skin tone and calm breakouts.

She explains that this later impacted her character Cassie’s routine: “I started doing this during quarantine because I was trying to find new self-care.

“I got really into face masks, bubble baths and a lot of Cassie’s products from her skincare routine were my products. My manic episode of skin care was also Cassie’s manic episode of skin care.”

Sydney opts for the Laneige Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturizer and applies the Water Sleeping Mask and Lip Sleeping Mask from the brand to hydrate both her skin and her lips as she sleeps.

She finishes up with her final step in her nighttime skincare routine – and that’s a spritz of perfume.

Euphoria’s makeup artist is launching her own brand

Donni Davy, the makeup artist behind Euphoria’s iconic looks is launching her own brand.

Entitled Half Magic, the range will embody the “emotional glam” of the HBO series and feature cosmetics and tools.

Some of the pieces from the brand – due to drop in May 2022 – appeared in episodes of season two of Euphoria.

It’s been confirmed that there will be two categories of colour ways: one being a universal shade and the other featuring bright periwinkles and pinks.

There will also be liquid eye pigments, glitters and rhinestones, so fans can recreate some of the looks from the show.

In an interview with Allure, Davy said: “The makeup transcends the show. In its own way, it became its own entity.

“We want to go with that and not just be an accessory to the show, because at some point the show’s gonna be over.”
