Demi Lovato wowed followers with a new set of selfies.

Demi has previously been candid about their body image issues. Last year, they explained on Instagram: “I don’t always feel good in my skin, so when I do, AND I feel sexy enough to post – I do just that! It’s important to celebrate the little wins.”

It’s why many were thrilled to see the singer feeling themself in a new series of selfies. Leaning back with their arms up in the air, their cropped white top reveals a flash of underboob, with white crosses superimposed onto the image.

“Lemme jump your bones,” they wrote in the caption.

Among those commenting on the photograph was Matthew Scott Montgomery, Demi Lovato’s co-star on Disney’s Sonny With A Chance and the series’ spin-off skit show, So Random.

“Got DYNAMITE”, he commented, followed by an emoji of a stick of dynamite.

Queer icon, Leslie Jordan, was also to be found in the comment section, describing the snap and Demi as “So beautiful”, followed by a threefold string of heart emojis.

Demi Lovato is no stranger to bold style choices. In January, they unveiled their striking new tattoo of a spider above their ear, and debuted their shaved head a month prior.

They captioned the image of their tattoo with a quote: “It was Grandmother Spider who taught us many things. She taught us about pottery and weaving. She taught us about fire and light and dark. She taught us that we are all connected on the web each one of us having our place in this world.”

Reportedly tattooed by Dr Woo, InTouch has said that the quote which inspired the artwork is taken from Cherokee story, “Grandmother Spider Brings the Light.”

The singer came out as non-binary in March 2021.

Explaining their decision to come out, the singer stated that they/them pronouns captured the “fluidity I feel in my gender expression” and “allows me to feel most authentic and true to the person I know I am and still am discovering”.

They had planned to make their big TV acting comeback this year in NBC pilot, Hungry. However their role has now been recast, due to a scheduling conflict, though they remain attached to the project as an executive producer.
