Pete Davidson Confirms…That He’s Got a Show Coming Out on Tubi

The comedian might have dropped a few hints about the status of his relationship with Kim Kardashian on Late Night With Seth Meyers.

Pete Davidson has finally addressed the rumors that have been swirling as of late. The Saturday Night Live star dropped by Late Night With Seth Meyers last night and confirmed what we’ve all been wondering, simply dying to get to the bottom of…that, yes, Davidson has a new animated series coming out on Tubi.

Those living under a rock may be unaware that Davidson is also rumored to be dating Kim Kardashian, ever since she hosted SNL in October. The pair have been spotted holding hands at an amusement park and going out to dinner in Staten Island, where Davidson reigns as king; Kardashian reportedly even finds him “intriguing.” Neither Kardashian—who’s currently divorcing the artist formerly known as Kanye West—nor Davidson has confirmed the status of their relationship, but for a minute it looked like Davidson was going to do just that with Seth Meyers.

“I want to address something,” Meyers said to Davidson, who apparently got stuck in traffic on the way to the studio and almost missed the taping entirely. “I feel like I want to confirm if it’s real or a rumor. You’ve been reading a lot about it in the press.” A consummate comedian, Davidson “yes, and-ed” Meyers’s offering. “I’ve been wanting to talk about this because there’s a lot of people I walk by—people are, like, whispering and making eyes at me,” Davidson said cryptically. “But it is true…I do have a show on Tubi coming out. The Tubi.” Gotcha!

The cleverly promoted show is The Freak Brothers, an animated series that premieres on November 14 and stars Davidson, Woody Harrelson, John Goodman, and Tiffany Haddish. Although the jokester never directly addressed the rumors about his relationship, he did make a point to say that Tubi—which is apparently a streaming platform—is, in fact, “a real thing.” Is Tubi the streaming platform a euphemism for Kim the Kardashian? Does this mean he and Kardashian are really more than friends? Is Davidson the last eligible bachelor alive in the five boroughs? While we can’t say for sure yet, it’s clear that in Davidson’s native New York, anything can happen.
