In February, Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West, but they seem to be keeping in very close touch, leading to rumors that the former couple might be pausing their divorce plans. On Friday, they were spotted leaving Nobu Malibu together, then getting into a car with West driving and Kardashian in the passenger seat beside him, as his friends took the back.
The former couple have allegedly been having an amicable split, and co-parenting their four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, together. West also helped Kardashian with the rebrand of her KKW Beauty line. It’s not impossible for two people going through a break up tobe supportive of one another, but it is unfortunately unusual.
West fueled the rumors that he and his ex might be getting back together with a stunt at his Donda listening party where Kardashian appeared in a wedding dress and seemed to be “remarrying” the musical artist.

But an insider told US Weekly that they’re not together, West is just “still styling Kim.”
“They have a more of a friendship and working relationship as they coparent,” they insisted. “They’re not back together.”
They added that Kardashian “will be involved with Kanye’s work ventures and he will be involved with hers.”
But a different insider said in September that West wants more.
“Kanye wants to get back with Kim,” the insider claimed. “[Kanye] sees the two of them together and wants to make that a reality now. He has been trying to get back in her good graces again and it seems to be working.”
Before their divorce, Kardashian had said in a June episode of the final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that she was frustrated by both the physical and emotional distance between them.
“After turning 40 this year, I realized like, ‘No, I don’t want a husband that lives in a completely different state,’” she told her mother, Kris Jenner. “To me, I thought, ‘Oh, my God, that’s when we’re getting along the best,’ but then that is sad to me and that’s not what I want. I want someone that we have the same shows in common. I want someone who wants to work out with me.”
It seems she’s hesitant to try again, but is still collaborating with West on projects and great Friday night meals.
