Last month everyone was in France, although some were in Italy. This month everyone is in Italy, while some are in France. In some cases those in France went to Italy, and in others, those in Italy went to France and every so often, there were a couple folks in Greece. It’s a game of Stars! Where are they now and we mean where are they physically in the world!
Kendall Jenner is currently on a romantic jaunt in the Mediterranean with her boyfriend Phoenix Suns player, Devin Booker. It’s all boats and pasta and mountainous vistas—that is, very, familiar sights if one was following summer’s earlier romantic jaunts by, say, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck or Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde.
These are not the only ones getting their summer vacations in. Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom popped over to Capri after the Cannes Film Festival.
There was, too, Grimes. A mere 11 days ago she shared photos of her Italian vacation with her bebé, X, as a promotion for her new song “Shinigami Eyes.” After some time in Positano with most of the cast, Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim arrived in the city at the turn of the month, too, as promotion for their new relationship, and potentially season three of the show.
Who can forget Sandra Lee’s whirlwind European tour, which began in Italy and apparently ended in France, and finally, ended for good once Andrew Cuomo officially stepped down from his post as New York governor? And where hasn’t Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union’s yacht taken them in the last week?
How have you spent your precious vacation time this year? Perhaps at a local beach, lovely as ever? Maybe going for another hike or camping in the great outdoors? Somewhere in the contiguous United States? Listen, there are beauties to be witnessed close to home, where it’s far easier to fly right now, and if you could drive there? All the better. Flying internationally is not impossible of course, but it’s not the easiest it’s ever been either. Imagine if you had the world at your fingertips, because you have a staff and the yachts and the funds for as many PCR tests and rescheduled flights as your heart desires?
