Lately, it seems like no Ben Affleck relationship can be considered official without a sentimental piece of jewelry to go with it. He and Ana de Armas had their matching halves of a BFF heart necklace. In May, Affleck brought out the watch Jennifer Lopez gifted him in the early aughts. And now, the pop star has a romantic trinket of her own to proclaim her affection for the actor—a necklace bearing his name.
Lopez was spotted walking around Monaco with a friend on Monday wearing a white Reformation “Roarke” mini dress, gold flip flops, a floral face mask, olive green fedora, and carrying a white Valentino handbag. Around her neck, the singer wore a large diamond on a chain, a small diamond heart necklace, and another gold necklace that spells out “BEN” in block letters. This little nod to her former fiancé comes after the pair spent the weekend on a yacht celebrating Lopez’s 52nd birthday and engaging in lots of PDA, including, intentionally or not, recreating a famous scene from her 2002 music video for “Jenny From the Block” in which Affleck grabs her bikini-clad backside. Lopez also made their relationship Instagram official, sharing a shot of them passionately kissing as part of her official birthday post.
And, according to “a Hollywood insider” who spoke to People, the couple is just as “madly in love” as they look. In fact, they’re “the loves of each other’s lives,” the source added. “They want to do everything they can to make this work.” Yet another source also previously revealed to Us Weekly that both Lopez and Affleck are “thrilled” by “how seamlessly” they’ve picked up right where they left off back in 2004. “The past few months have been a real whirlwind,” they said. “They’re well aware some cynics still look at it as a big, flashy attention grab and roll their eyes at the speed of it all, but it doesn’t faze them one iota. They’re fully committed to taking the next steps and spending the rest of their lives together.”
