Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 52nd birthday on Saturday by lighting up the Internet with a series of bathing suit pics, culminating in a passionate kiss with her “fully committed” boyfriend, Ben Affleck.
“5 2 … what it do …” she wrote on Instagram, followed by a pink heart emoji and a shout-out to photographer Ana Carballosa. The first three images show her in a bikini, robe, and protective sun hat. (Melanoma is no joke!) The fourth image is the one Bennifer 2.0 fans have been waiting for: their first artistically curated Instagram smooch. Over 7 million people have hit like at the time of this report.
As if this were not enough, J. Lo followed it up with a short video, where it is evident that she is on a yacht. She can be seen lifting her arms, twirling, and singing a spontaneous composition with lyrics that go, “hello, mellow.”
The yacht was off the coast of the French Riviera town, Saint-Tropez, according to Page Six. It just so happens that on Friday, Lopez’s former fiancée, Alex Rodriguez, days before his 46th birthday, was spotted in the same waters, zooming down an inflatable waterslide and frolicking with many friends, some of whom were wearing bikinis. In all of the seven seas, is this the only spot where yachts may roam? One wonders!
The Bennifer Boat does not appear to have any slide attachments. Still, Page Six does have pics of the enormous floral arrangement that was lugged aboard, as well as a birthday cake that read, “Happy Birthday Jennifer from Umar Kamani and the PrettyLittleThing Family.” PrettyLittleThing, which boasts an “Inspired by Jennifer Lopez” line, has been affiliated with the celebrity since at least 2017 when they reproduced a spin on the notorious dress she wore at the 2000 Grammy Awards.
