Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner Announce Baby’s Name After It Was Leaked by an Israeli Yeshiva

Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner’s plans to keep their baby’s name under wraps were accidentally foiled by Kushner’s old alma mater.

According to Page Six, in the “Mazel Tov” portion of the newsletter it sent out on Friday, Yeshiva Reishit congratulated the couple on the birth of their first child, referring to the baby boy as Levi Joseph. The Israeli school Kushner attended in 2003 seemingly didn’t realize the couple had yet to publicly announce the name or gender of their baby. But the day after the email blast went out, Kloss confirmed both on her Instagram account, writing in the caption, “Levi Joseph 3.11.21” with a blue heart emoji alongside a photo of her holding the newborn’s hand while wearing a gold Alison Lou “mama” ring. Joseph was also the name of Kushner’s real estate magnate grandfather.

The couple announced the birth of their baby in early March by posting a photo of the newborn swaddled in its bassinet on Kushner’s Instagram account with the caption, “welcome to the world.” The couple first announced they were expecting in October 2020, two years after they tied the knot at a small ceremony in upstate New York. A source told People at the time, “Karlie is overjoyed to be expecting her first child in 2021. She will be the most amazing mother.”

The couple also recently moved into a new home that should be plenty large enough for their growing family, purchasing an eight-bedroom, two-story Miami estate that sits on a 24,860-square-foot lot located on prestigious North Bay Road for $23.5 million in August. The new home is also just down the street from where Joshua’s brother Jared Kushner and his wife Ivanka Trump are reportedly moving—a $30 million plot of land on Miami’s high-security Indian Creek Island, known as the “Billionaire’s Bunker.”
