Matthew E. White and Lonnie Holley have announced a new joint album. It’s called Broken Mirror: A Selfie Reflection and it arrives March 5 via White’s Spacebomb Records and Jagjaguwar. Below, find a new song called “This Here Jungle of Moderness/Composition 14.”
White and Holley first played together in 2019, when the Spacebomb founder and his crew of Richmond-based musicians backed the Alabama artist’s for a gig in Virginia’s capital city. Reminded of a series of instrumentals that he’d recorded with those same musicians the prior year, White invited Holley to write and record over those tracks, which make up Broken Mirror.
