In the middle of her pregnancy, Ashley Tisdale decided to switch up her look with a light hair makeover! The ‘HSM’ star paid a trip to the same hair colorist who worked on Kendall Jenner’s tresses.
Ashley Tisdale, 35, tapped into her inner Sharpay Evans to change up her hairstyle. Her iconic character from High School Musical was a platinum blonde, and Ashley borrowed some of this blondeness and mixed it with brunette to debut a new hair color that she called “bronde.” Ashley revealed the hair makeover in a Boomerang video on her Instagram Story on Dec. 1, which was filmed by a pool.
Ashley’s “bronde” hair was the work of celebrity hair colorist Tracey Cunningham, who also gave Kendall Jenner‘s extensions a similar caramel color in the beginning of October. It appears that “bronde” may be the hot new hair trend for the winter of 2020.
Before the “bronde” makeover, Ashley was rocking darker brunette hair with a few highlighted pieces (as you can see below). This may come as a surprise to High School Musical fans, but Ashley is actually a natural brunette!
Ashley switched up her ‘do after recently returning from a trip to Big Sur, an outdoor wonderland on the central coast of California, before Thanksgiving in November. Ashley and her husband, musician Christopher French, 38, stayed at the luxurious Post Ranch Inn, which offered amazing views of the scenic coastline. They were also joined by their baby, who is still in Ashley’s tum. The future parents happily announced the pregnancy in September, and Ashley has been happily sharing photos and videos of her baby bump ever since. This will be the couple’s first child!
Ashley is looking forward to the arrival of her little one, especially after heavily grieving the loss of her maltipoo dog named Maui in June of 2019. “Its crazy the last time here we were trying to heal from losing Maui, a huge life change. Now a little more than a year later we are celebrating this bundle of joy, another life change. I guess my point is life is always changing and as scary as the world seems right now, it will too change and get better,” Ashley wrote underneath a baby bump photo of herself that was taken amid the Big Sur trip (see above). She also thanked the destination spot for being her “safe place to heal and get perspective.” Things do change — like Ashley’s hair!
