Breaking: Public servant plans to do her job
Emily Murphy has been in the news of late thanks to her refusal to release millions of dollars and government resources to Biden’s transition team, a decision that’s put national security at risk, in addition to public health, given the delay puts Biden at a disadvantage when it comes to tackling the COVID-19 crisis on day one. Last week, The Washington Post reported that Murphy felt “extreme pressure,” which is precisely the sort of discomfort one should feel when they’re conspiring to undermine democracy.
