Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi reunited on Twitter to celebrate the 10th anniversary of ‘Tangled’, their adorable Disney princess film. Rapunzel and Flynn Rider were so excited!
Can you say best day EVER? Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi reunited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their beloved Disney film, Tangled, thanking their fans for continuing to keep Rapunzel’s spirit alive for a decade. “It was such an immense pleasure and joy” voicing Rapunzel in the animated fairytale, the This Is Us star said in conversation with Zachary, calling it a “bucket list opportunity, and one that I will never forget.”
Zachary, who played the dashing swashbuckler (and Rapunzel’s love) Flynn Rider, said that he really couldn’t believe it had actually been a decade since they stepped into the recording studio. “In some ways it feels actually longer ago, and in some ways it feels like the blink of an eye. I think it’s just because the movie’s so evergreen,” the Shazam! star explained.
“I get reminded of how grateful I am that we got to do it together,” he told Mandy. He turned his attention to the audience, the fans who helped Tangled become one of Disney’s biggest hits, and who continue to show the animated film love, 10 years later. “Thank you for believing in the film then, for continuing to believe in it now, for continuing to share it, and for being enthusiastic about it,” Zach said.
“We hope you enjoy it for years to come, and thank you for all your love and support,” he said. Mandy chimed in: “Just endless gratitude for the support people have shown the film over the years.” Both Mandy and Zach reprised their roles for the film’s sequel, a short film called Tangled Ever After, in 2012. They lent their voices to the Disney Channel cartoon, Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure, in 2017.
