Kelsea Ballerini had the best response to a fan who asked if she’s expecting after seeing the country singer perform at the CMAs on Nov. 11. Here’s what she had to say…
Kelsea Ballerini set the record straight about any pregnancy speculation that sparked after her CMA Awards performance on Wednesday night. The “Hole In The Bottle” singer, 27, took to Twitter to clap back at a fan who tweeted, “Could our sweet adorable @kelseaballerini be pregnant???” The answer is — no!
“I’m sure you mean well, but it’s incredibly insensitive to ask or assume if another woman is pregnant,” Kelsea replied, confirming, “I’m not, by the way.” Instead, the country hitmaker explained that she’s “just carrying around my organs. But if I were, I’d want to share that in my own time when I felt ready,” Kelsea said, suggesting, “Let’s not judge bloat levels on the internet.” We feel you, girl — and couldn’t agree more!
This isn’t the first time that Kelsea has clapped back on social media. Last month, the outspoken singer responded to critics who said her CMT Awards performance, which featured Halsey, wasn’t “country enough” for the annual show.
“After reading way too many comments, I’d like to remind people that there are different kinds of country music and none are more ‘real’ than others when it comes from an honest place, that women can wear whatever we want and shouldn’t be called names and criticized for it, and that if you don’t have something nice to say, politely shut up,” Kelsea wrote on Instagram following the October 21 performance.
Now that that’s settled, let’s move onto Kelsea’s festive green and red rose gown she wore on the CMAs red carpet. She stunned in the Dolce & Gabbana strapless number, which included embellished roses. Kelsea, who wore her blonde locks down and straight, coordinated her look with a fiery red lip. The “Homecoming Queen?” crooner stepped out in a pair of bright red, open-toe heels with jeweled floral designs. Kelsea was styled by Molly Dickson, who also dressed her for last month’s CMT Awards. Her glam, which included LORAC Cosmetics beauty products, was courtesy of makeup artist Kelsea Deenihan.
