Single Review: The PondHawks “Invisible Stranger”

You can feel the anguish and the inspiration in the Chicago based, Beatle influenced duo, The PondHawks, newest single, “Invisible Stranger.” While our fractured planet reels with social unrest, political chaos, and the darkest pandemic in current history, “Invisible Stranger” rings out with hope. It is also an intelligent warning relevant to the earth’s condition.

The PondHawks have a unique and untarnished harmony, as well as up lifting instrumentals. Their lyrics paint a colorful picture as they excel in storytelling within their songs. With a massive and loyal fan base and a huge social media presence the group has remained relevant since its birth in 2007.

Their melodic vibrations are unburdened by angels, beasts and man but rather realize that without risks there are no possibilities. It’s written out of uncertainty, constructed from hope with elements of compassion and even fear. It’s a radio friendly pop-folk song where relevance meets a different realm of reality. It’s simple, yet complicated and dark with a light at the end of the tunnel.

The PondHawks are definitely one of the most musically creative bands around. Their lyrics are fascinating and their harmonies ring out above humanity. This group is seeking their destiny and are about to find it…..
