Dataminers Find Additional Content For ‘Mortal Kombat 11’ Involving 1995 Film’s Cast

Dataminers have been busy with Mortal Kombat 11 once again, fueling speculation that we could be seeing more DLC in the future. Best of all, from the leaks, it appears that some of that content might involve the 1995 movie!

While the video posted to YouTube is now gone, a Reddit user managed to snag a portion of the video that shows Raiden, Sonya Blade, and Johnny Cage delivering their own lines of pre-match banter. After each line, the opponent repeats the same exact banter, though the voices belong to members of the cast of 1995’s Mortal Kombat. Bridgette Wilson-Sampras is back as Sonya Blade, Linden Ashby is doing Johnny Cage, and yes, Christopher Lambert reprises his role as Raiden.

Of course, the main question is if this content will be released. NetherRealm hasn’t exactly been forthcoming with plans for additional MK11 content after this year’s Mortal Kombat: Aftermath. Then again, when you have the voice cast dropping hints that content might be coming, there’s reason to speculate.

Mortal Kombat 11 is in stores now for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Xbox One.
