“The Haunting of Bly Manor”: Call This Number for a Creepy Little Voice Recording

The marketing campaign for Netflix and Mike Flanagan‘s “The Haunting of Bly Manor” kicked off earlier this week with an official poster debut, and we’re pretty sure that means the first trailer isn’t far behind. But first up, the show’s official Twitter account tweeted out a faux vintage “Help Wanted” ad today, and on it is a number you can actually call yourself.

“Seeking au pair for two perfectly splendid children at the Bly Manor residence,” the ad reads. “Manor is located on the English countryside. Positions begin immediately.”

The number is +44 1273 915253, and dialing it up will treat you to a voice recording that schedules your “interview” for five days from today. That’d be next Monday, August 31st, and we’re only speculating here, but it would seem the little viral marketing gag was put together to tease the fact that the trailer will be making its way online at the start of next week.

Even if we’re reading a bit too far too into things, it won’t be much longer now. “The Haunting of Bly Manor” is scheduled to arrive on Netflix in the Fall, very likely in October!
