“A Scottish serial killer and necrophile who murdered at least twelve young men and boys between 1978 and 1983 in London, England” (Wikipedia), Dennis Nilsen died in prison back in 2018, and this year the real-life monster is being brought to the screen in the ITV drama series “Des.” Nilsen will be played David Tennant, who is damn near unrecognizable in the role.
The limited series is coming to ITV in September, and you’ll find the trailer below.
The three-part series is based on the book Dennis Nilsen: Serial Killer.
“Des” was written by Luke Neal and directed by Lewis Arnold.
