Prince Harry’s Ex Cressida Bonas Married Boyfriend Harry Wentworth-Stanley in Private, Intimate Ceremony

One of Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriends, Cressida Bonas, married another Harry this weekend, the Daily Mail is reporting. The 31-year-old actress wed property developer Harry Wentworth-Stanley in a small countryside ceremony at Cowdray Park, in Midhurst, West Sussex. It was attended by just 30 people—the couple’s closest friends and family—in adherence to UK coronavirus guidelines.

“It was a beautiful ceremony and they are just so happy,” a family source told the outlet. “It was a very private and intimate ceremony and that is what they wanted. Cressida looked stunning and was radiant. We are just all so happy for them, and it was a great day, but they did request that no one talks about it.”

Bonas’ brother Jacobi Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe shared an Instagram Story of Bonas and her husband riding off on horseback during their wedding.

Bonas has not posted about the wedding on her Instagram, nor has Wentworth-Stanley. Wentworth-Stanley announced the couple’s engagement in August 2019. “We getting married 😁🥰,” he captioned a photo of them together, Bonas showing off her engagement ring.

Bonas and Wentworth-Stanley, the son of the Marchioness of Milford Haven (so there’s a noble title in there), first dated when they were at college together. They met at the University of Leeds and ultimately split when Wentworth-Stanley studied abroad for a year, according to Tatler. Bonas went on to date Prince Harry for two years before they split in 2014. She would later attend his wedding to Meghan Markle.

Bonas spoke to the Evening Standard in January about how she envisioned her wedding to Wentworth-Stanley. “I won’t have a huge wedding, that’s not really us,” she said. “We aren’t traditional people, even though Harry proposed in a traditional way—I’ve never thought about how someone would propose to me. And I don’t want a meringue dress. People look beautiful in them but I don’t think I would.”
