“since i was young” is the latest collaboration between the two friends. Wrabel worked with Kesha on multiple songs from 2017’s Rainbow and her 2020 album High Road.
Earlier this year, Kesha teamed up with Big Freedia for the song “Chasing Rainbows.” She also contributed a cover of “Children of the Revolution” to a Hal Willner–produced T. Rex tribute album. During the pandemic, she also made a short song about Nicolas Cage.
