Pitchfork Announces New Live Series “Listening Club,” With Special Guest Perfume Genius

Pitchfork is excited to announce the launch of our new livestream series “Listening Club,” debuting this Friday, May 15 at 5 p.m. Eastern on Pitchfork.com, Pitchfork’s Instagram, and Pitchfork’s YouTube Channel. Each episode will feature a listening session with Pitchfork editors discussing new songs and albums, plus artist interviews, intimate live performances, Q&As with the viewing audience, and more.

The first installment of “Listening Club” features special guest Perfume Genius discussing and performing songs from his new album Set My Heart on Fire Immediately, which is out the same day. The episode will be hosted by Pitchfork’s Editor-in-Chief Puja Patel, Reviews Editor Jeremy Larson, and Senior Editor Jillian Mapes.

Christine and the Queens will appear on “Listening Club” on Friday, May 29.

More “Listening Club” guests will be announced in the weeks ahead. Stay tuned for more details.
